What festival could call itself such without a circus?
And Nozstock has the circus for you… Get ready to see acts of astonishing bravery as stilt-walkers, jugglers and unicyclists tumble through the festival site all day, creating spectacles as they go. Workshops will welcome those amateurs and semi-professionals out there eager to learn new skills or improve on old ones, and as dusk settles the flames of the firedancers will flare and dazzle through the night.
Be amazed by the Farrel Circus Troupe and Gogs, firedancer extraordinaire! And in 2009 punters were boggled by the mind-bending contortions of Chris Cross, who was wending his way on walkabout all weekend.
Keep your eyes peeled for various other strange and intriguing performances during 2010. That couldn’t have been a giant deformed pigeon you saw in the corner of your eye… A huge clam in a field? Don’t be silly.
Not to be outdone by those big consumer festivals, Nozstock has thought to bring you your own shopping boulevard, but with a touch of the different. 2010 will boast a bigger and better range of stalls and workshops than ever before. Meddle in the arts and crafts or treat yourself to a bit of consumer naughtiness.
As well as delicious sweet treats at The Grind Cafe, meat and veg of all varieties can be found on site to sate all appetites. With a focus on variety and quality no belly should be left unfattened!
